Adoption Day

Be sure to stop by this Saturday August 21st and visit with a few of the "Secondhand Hounds" available for adoption at the Eden Prairie Petsmart from 11am-2pm. A few of the pups that will be attending are Maybel, Peyton, Reyna, Zeus, Surly,Sherlock, Ann and Dan. Be sure to contact Kayla at Kayla@secondhandhounds.org to confirm that the pup that you are interested in will be in attendance. We hope to see you there!

Forever Homes Found!

This weekends adoption event was a success! Rex and his friends Tobe, Lucy and Zipper found their forever homes. We wish all of their families the best of luck and many years of enjoyment with their pups. We are happy to have you as part of the Secondhand Hounds family :)

UPDATE! Adoption Day August 7th

Be sure to stop by the Secondhand Hounds adoption day this Saturday August 7th at the Roseville Petsmart from 11am -2pm. Many dogs/pups will be in attendance (be sure to call to confirm). So far Pennie, Tessa, Zipper, Cullen, Marge, Andre, Colby,Tobe, Paul, Sherlock, Rex, Naina, Tallulah and 5 8wk old puppies will be attending this event.Remember to check out SHH adoption protocol, we do require an adoption agreement to be filled out,a home visit to be completed and approved before finalizing the adoption of one of our dogs/pups. Adoption Day Roseville Petsmart August 7th

We hope you can attend this Saturdays adoption event at the Roseville Petsmart form 11am to 2pm. Please contact Kayla at kayla@secondhandhounds.org to make sure the dog/puppy you are interested in will be attending and feel free to stop by and just say Hi! There will also be Secondhand Hounds representatives there to answer any questions you have about adoption,donations,volunteering, and fostering. Loyal Rottweiler Needs Forever Home

Pennie is a 5 year old purebred Rottweiler that is still looking for her forever home! She was surrendered to the rescue about 4 months ago, she is both house/crate trained. She is currently on thyroid meds but is living a happy and healthy life. She should go to a home with older children as she can be protective of "her" family. She is perfectly content laying by the couch at your feet and enjoys frequent belly rubs. Can you give this sweet girl the life that she truly deserves? Needed: Loving Forever Home!

Naina needs to find her forever home, she is blind but don't tell her because we aren't sure she knows she is any different than the other puppies ;) She would do best in a home with no small children as she can be a little mouthy at times well she adjusts to new surrondings. Secondhand Hounds is always in need of more fosters! If you can open up your heart and home to any of these "Secondhand Hounds" please go to www.secondhandhounds.org and fill out a foster application. You will receive an email within 24-48hrs to get you started down the road to fostering.
